Authorities still searching for leads in case

An investigation into the disappearance of a 29-year-old Florida woman last seen in Bryson City has so far come up empty.

Rossana Miliani arrived in Bryson City the morning of Dec. 7. After spending the night in a Cherokee motel, she found a ride with Cherokee Transit to Bryson City. That morning she rented a unit at Ye Olde Mini Storage on River Street, then dropped out of sight.
